Alma Road Primary Care Centre

3Well started  a new service under the Equitable Access scheme with NHS Peterborough in May 2009. We see GP registered patients as well as “walk in” patients.  Walk-in patient numbers have grown from zero to a current annual rate of 24,000 consultations. Our registered list is 2750.  We are also scheduled to introduce added interest services such as Day Case Surgery, speciality clinics and much more.

We are currently located in a state-of-the-art modular building with 5 consulting rooms, and also triage and treatment rooms.

At the heart of this vibrant multi-ethnic community, we are developing a service which is appreciated and respected by patients across the city.  We believe in and practice whole person General Practice, working closely with other specialities and with significant added value support from the voluntary sector.

Opening 15 hours a day 365 days a year, this centre provides unrivalled service to patients and a valued supplementary service to other established GP practices.  This environment provide a very valuable and exciting setting for patients and professionals alike.
